Lifelines Christian Services, Inc. is a 501 (c ) (3) tax exempt organization that is the fulfillment of a dream of Leah McKissack, whose desire was to establish a Christian organization that would benefit youth, individuals and families.  At an early age, Leah knew that God had given her a desire to help others.  She remembers volunteering, helping the elderly, and always asking the question, "What can I do to help?"   

As she got older, her service to people continued. Since 1995, Leah has been a  foster parent to more than 40 children, and have adopted 7 of those children.  She has opened her home and heart to many individuals and families who were in need of care and shelter. Leah has always had a desire to help others find their purpose in life and to become self-sufficient.  Thus, the establishment of Lifelines Christian Services seeks to do just that, by encouraging and equipping youth, individuals and families to live self-sufficient lives.
